  1.                   Printing the files on this disk
  2.  
  3. This disk is set up with the generic printer driver. This is compatible with
  4. nearly all printers so as long as your printer is connected properly you
  5. should be able to print files by clicking on the PRINT button at the bottom
  6. of the PPmore window or double-clicking the Print_All icon.  However, you may 
  7. have a printer that has its own driver or you may not like the printed 
  8. output.  If this is the case, double click on the Printers icon.  The Prefs 
  9. Printer Editor screen will be shown.  Instructions on its use can be found 
  10. in the Amiga Manual under  "Preferences".  If your printer's driver is not 
  11. on this disk you will have to copy it across to this disk.  These 
  12. instructions tell you how to do it.

  14. 1.  Put your disk into the disk drive.  Double click on its icon.
  15. 2.  Select from the menu the item Window/Show » All files.
  16. 3.  Open the drawers leading to your driver.
  17. 4.  If you have only one drive, remove the disk, put in the C.L.Index
  18.     disk and select Window/Show » All files again.  Open the devs drawer
  19.     then the printers drawer.  Now put the disk with your printer driver
  20.     on back in the drive.  If you have two drives there is no need to take
  21.     the disk out.
  22. 5.  Drag your printer driver to the C.L.Index Devs/Printer drawer.  it will
  23.     be copied across.  If there is not enough room, delete one of the 
  24.     printer drivers that is already there.

  26.     Now you can use Preferences to select your Printer

  28. Alternatively, you could use the CLI copy command.

  30. If this sounds a bit complicated, you could load C.L.Index with Workbench.
  31. If you do this, you need the files "PowerPacker.library" and 
  32. "ReqTools.library" on your Workbench disk.  You have to copy these across
  33. from this disk yourself.
