Printing the files on this disk
This disk is set up with the generic printer driver. This is compatible with
nearly all printers so as long as your printer is connected properly you
should be able to print files by clicking on the PRINT button at the bottom
of the PPmore window or double-clicking the Print_All icon. However, you may
have a printer that has its own driver or you may not like the printed
output. If this is the case, double click on the Printers icon. The Prefs
Printer Editor screen will be shown. Instructions on its use can be found
in the Amiga Manual under "Preferences". If your printer's driver is not
on this disk you will have to copy it across to this disk. These
instructions tell you how to do it.
1. Put your disk into the disk drive. Double click on its icon.
2. Select from the menu the item Window/Show » All files.
3. Open the drawers leading to your driver.
4. If you have only one drive, remove the disk, put in the C.L.Index
disk and select Window/Show » All files again. Open the devs drawer
then the printers drawer. Now put the disk with your printer driver
on back in the drive. If you have two drives there is no need to take
the disk out.
5. Drag your printer driver to the C.L.Index Devs/Printer drawer. it will
be copied across. If there is not enough room, delete one of the
printer drivers that is already there.
Now you can use Preferences to select your Printer
Alternatively, you could use the CLI copy command.
If this sounds a bit complicated, you could load C.L.Index with Workbench.
If you do this, you need the files "PowerPacker.library" and
"ReqTools.library" on your Workbench disk. You have to copy these across
from this disk yourself.
